Who will I be dealing with during my project?
The owner of Viora Painting. The same person does the walkthrough with you, writes your estimate, sends you an update every working day while we paint and does the final walkthrough with you at the end. You will not be passed between people.
Are your painting estimates free?
Yes. Estimates are free and there is no obligation. For most projects we look at the space in person, because the price depends on surface condition and prep work that photos do not always show.
How much does it cost to paint a house in Katy?
It depends on the size of the area, the condition of the surfaces, how much prep is needed, ceiling heights, the number of colors and the products chosen. We do not quote prices without seeing the project, but your written estimate lists exactly what is included so you can compare it with other quotes line by line.
Which areas do you serve?
We are based in Katy and paint homes in Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear and Richmond, Texas. We also take on projects in the surrounding area, so if you are close by, send an estimate request and we will let you know.
Do I need to move my furniture before interior painting?
Please remove small items, valuables and anything on the walls. Larger furniture is moved away from the walls and covered as described in your estimate, then put back when the room is finished.
Can you help me choose colors and sheens?
We can talk through color and sheen options, explain how each finish holds up in different rooms, and recommend testing large samples on your own walls. The final choice is always yours.
What paint do you use?
We mainly use Sherwin-Williams paints and choose the product for each surface: a scrubbable finish for busy hallways, a moisture-resistant one for bathrooms, an exterior paint suited to the sun exposure. The products and number of coats are listed in your estimate.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. Our work is covered by a 3-year workmanship warranty. If something we painted fails because of how the work was done, email office@viorapainting.com with a short description and a photo, and we will come back to take a look.
My neighborhood has an HOA. Can you help with exterior colors?
Approval comes from your HOA, so check its rules before changing exterior colors. Once you have chosen colors, we can give you the exact Sherwin-Williams color names and codes for your submission.
